
The Island Paddle/Swim
The infamous 1.5 km Forresters Beach Island Paddle is known for the winner to be crowned the most brave and courageous. This event has drawn top surf swimmers and highlighted an all time effort when Avoca local Sean Macgugan completed the event just 10 months after becoming a quadriplegic in testing 2metre swell. Having the support of Wamberal Surf Club provides the best water safety that this event can offer its competitors.
The Trivia/Auction Night
This fund raising night follows the island paddle. The aim of this night is to spend time with family and friends to raise more money for the arrow foundation. The night consists of trivia competition, auction items and some fun entertainment. Everyone with the passion for surfing, trivia, or the love of buying auctioned sporting memorabilia generally enjoys kicking back having a cold beverage after a big day of beach activities.
The Surfing Contest
The surfing contest is held over 2 days and will be exposed to at least 130 surfers from all over the Central Coast. The event comprises of 12 divisions to accommodate for all minds of surfing enthusiast. Past winners include WCT Surfer Adrian Buchan, Current top 15 ranked WQS surfer Drew Courtney, World # 4 Female Rebecca Woods and hosts of other hot shots.
